Since 1991, AOSA-approved teacher training courses in the Orff-Schulwerk approach to teaching music have been offered in the summer on the beautiful campus of Webster University in Webster Groves, which is a lovely suburb of St. Louis, located approx. 15 miles southwest of downtown St. Louis. These teacher training courses (commonly called "Levels" courses, for Levels I, II and III) offer certification in the Orff-Schulwerk approach for teachers who are interested in increasing their skills at using the Orff-Schulwerk approach with their students.

Many of our St. Louis-AOSA chapter members have taken one or more (or all three!) of these courses at Webster, and these teachers speak of the tremendous positive impact the "Levels" courses have had on their teaching and the musical learning of their students. Classes are taught by nationally recognized teachers in the Orff-Schulwerk approach, many of whom are members of our St. Louis chapter!
