St. Louis AOSA is celebrating our 40th birthday this year! On April 26, 1970, St. Louis AOSA became the 6th chapter to join the American Orff-Schulwerk Association. Today, there are more than 90 chapters in the US.
St. Louis AOSA and the St. Louis Cardinals!
We are inviting as many St. Louis area music teachers as possible to represent their schools and districts by performing our “National Anthem” for the Cardinals vs. Houston game on Monday, August 2, 2010! We would love to have a huge turn-out! It would be so powerful to see the TEACHERS singing together, since we have spent most of our careers focusing on student performances. One ticket per teacher must be purchased with this form (but feel free to also order tickets for other family members, students and co-workers with the same form). All ticket sales help our local chapter to bring a national music conference to St. Louis in 2012!
All ticket orders should be postmarked by July 10, 2010, using the address on the form. If you would like, you may send several orders in one envelope.
The arrangement of "The National Anthem” will be sent via e-mail to each teacher volunteering to sing, and each singer will be responsible for learning parts before we meet the day of the game.
